Description: Our extremely gentle 150 lbs bullmastiff is laying right in front of our 5½ months old child. Our son is playing with his toy and our dog is watching carefully, at some point trying to lure the toy out of the babys hand. This might look frightening to some, but the situation is quite harmless. We can read our dog like an open book and we are teaching him not to touch any of our sons stuff this gentle way. |

AndrewSherlock ::: Favorites 2007-07-05 15:23:58 Bullmastiffs are one of the few large breed dogs that are safe around children, I hope to get my own, maybe this year __________________________________________________
bysandra ::: Favorites 2007-07-08 16:05:45 That is absolutely adorable. Love the baby's look when the pup is told he can't have the toy. It makes me wish I could go get my Bullmastiff a baby to have as a friend. :o)Great clip! __________________________________________________

preo2 ::: Favorites 2007-07-23 11:29:55 Kudos to you! I'm a dog trainer and i can tell just by your dog's body language that your baby is not in any danger what so ever! Great job! __________________________________________________
Pythoneer ::: Favorites 2007-07-23 12:42:33 Thanks to you all and especially preo2. We have often talked about the body language of our bullmastiff - he is extremely easy to read. His face is so full of expressions, his many wrinkles and big eyes are such storytellers. We can easily tell if he shouldn't be in near vicinity of our son which happens when he is a bit too worked up and wants to play. They are simply great together. Again, thanks for the nice comments! __________________________________________________
