xxchinookxx ::: Favorites 2007-12-18 15:49:12 I wonder if Dick Vermeil had been there, if he would of cried with emotion. He would cry if the Eagles won but not cry if they lost. __________________________________________________
bernierules51 ::: Favorites 2007-12-07 21:43:45 that is just incrediable. __________________________________________________
NosferatusCoffin ::: Favorites 2007-12-01 19:19:26 Actually, Ray Perkins was hired in 1979 and in his third season, got them into the playoffs. A lot of the players that Parcells inherited, came from Perkins and George Young's drafts. Simms and LT in particular. __________________________________________________
NosferatusCoffin ::: Favorites 2007-12-01 19:17:08 Don Criqui and Bob Trumpy called a lot games in the early 1980's. They also called the SD-MIA 1981 divisional playoff, which is maybe the greatest NFL game ever played. I used to have the raw audio of the years ago. Alas... __________________________________________________
BronzeEleven ::: Favorites 2007-11-22 19:26:50 Is that the same guy who became a head coach? Herman Edwards, he is with the Chiefs right? I knew he used to play but I didn't know that was *him*. __________________________________________________
Phillymike77 ::: Favorites 2007-11-07 15:25:16 Thanks guys. I knew that voice was familiar. I was born in '77 and I remember he called games for NBC while I was growing up. I kept thinking Bob Trumpy? But I know he was a color guy. I think they called games together for a while. Good stuff - this old NFL footage! __________________________________________________
redmustang03 ::: Favorites 2007-11-07 14:44:46 That Don Criqui now does play by play for Notre Dame football he's been doing play by play since 1967 also called the Dempsy 63 yard field goal. __________________________________________________
dmorman ::: Favorites 2007-11-06 18:37:30 Don Criqui and Sonny Jurgenson __________________________________________________
Phillymike77 ::: Favorites 2007-11-06 16:06:41 Who is that calling the game for CBS? __________________________________________________
imsayintho ::: Favorites 2007-10-17 16:08:29 yeah but this is just a video clip, nothing wrong with that. you enjoy your super bowl wins while we enjoy these clips cause this is all we have to work with right now. hopefully theyll bring a ring to philly soon but no need to get upset over watching something like this. __________________________________________________
ejacoby ::: Favorites 2007-10-11 23:29:23 Dude its the NFL, every team has had awful losses except maybe 4. This game got the Giants coaching staff fired and allowed them to hire Bill Parcells..yeah, Eagles fans know him as the guy who got the giants two more super bowls than their entire franchise even though they love to crow about '88, and the stellar game they played vs. Chicago in the playoffs..Giants have had their chokes theyll have more im sure but at least they didnt lose 2 NFC title games in a row at home LOL! __________________________________________________ |
