The other guards had the same awful instructions from Senator Kohl (who, we haven't forgotten, was the target of our protest), but they also tried to treat us like human beings. I at least understand that he was trying to do his job, or at least that's what he said, and that it was Kohl's people who were causing us the problem...but it was very intense. We never knew how close he and his cohorts were to trying to have us arrested. Thank you for posting, though.
