Staring - Kristy Yeung, Andrew Yeun, David Chiang, Alice Chan, Leep Mei Leung (Michelle Mai Suet) is the daughter of the Evil Sect leader. In an attempt to steal a kung-fu scripture from Shaolin temple, she by chance encountered a young monk, Kok Sang (Ken Lo Wai-Kwong). After a series of unexpected events and romance, the two of them fell in love and they had a daughter named Leep Siu Fung (Mimi Kung Chi-Yan). This relationship was doomed to fail right from the start: beyond the fact that Kok Sang was a monk, Leep Mei Leung was also member of the Evil Sect.Kok Sang later on caused Leep Mei Leung to have to die under the sword of a swordsmen of the pugilistic fraternity, and she died right in front of their daughter, who was but twelve years old. The members of the other orthodox sects wanted to kill Leep Siu Fung as well, but Lo Yuen (David Chiang Tai-Wai), a highly-skilled martial art fighter and doctor, persuaded them to spare her (Lo Yuen was a very good friend of Kok Sang) and brought her to live with him. He promised that he'd teach her right from wrong and would steer her away from her evil destiny, and would also kill her himself if he fails to prevent her from causing harm to the pugilistic fraternity. Leep Siu Fung grew up and fell in love with Lo Yuen, who had become her teacher by then. He liked her too, but was careful to keep his distance from her because of social taboo. But one fateful night, Lo Yuen made the biggest mistake of his life -- he "spent" the night with Leep Siu Fung. Ashamed of himself, Lo Yuen rejected her completely after this night, despite her numerous pleadings. He even took their twin daughters and told his other disciple, Chan Tin Cheung (Lawrence Yan Chi-Keung) to take them away. This, of course, was totally unforgivable behavior. Tin Cheung took the twin daughters and gave them to an old couple, asking them to temporarily look after the twins for him until he returns to pick them up. and soo on.......... |
