myrnaw ::: Favorites 2007-08-07 01:10:34 What a surprise to see you on You Tube and how wonderful. You are just as informative and fun as you were the day you called me up to the stage at one of your conferences in NJ some years ago. I just blogged about you at myrnaslist dot com. Nice that our paths crossed again. __________________________________________________
kenne210 ::: Favorites 2007-08-08 22:35:00 I dream all the time and everyday. Most of the time I remember my dreams. My dreams are changing. I'm starting to realize, sometimes, in my dream that I am in fact dreaming. I say out loud in my dream, "This is silly. I know I'm dreaming." I've read that this is the step to enlightenment. How do you interprut, recognizing that you're dreaming? __________________________________________________
judithorloffmd ::: Favorites 2007-08-09 01:11:34 Great question! You are experiencing lucid dreams, what many shamans and healers aspire to. It's being aware that you're dreaming in a dream. Stay aware in dreams of what people communicate and messages you get--forms of intuition. My book Guide to Intuitive Healing discusses dreams. I think it would be very interesting to you! Keep dreaming, Judith __________________________________________________
judithorloffmd ::: Favorites 2007-08-09 11:55:41 So nice to hear from you too! That conference in New Jersey was fun. I love youtube as a vehicle to communicate personally.Thank your for your comment and kind words. Paths crossing, Judith __________________________________________________
kenne210 ::: Favorites 2007-08-09 21:19:36 Wow, that's very interesting! I'm going to make an effort to remember what others are saying while I'm experiencing these dreams. Also, I think I might have a look at Guide to Intuitive Healing. Thank you Judith, for answering my question! __________________________________________________
RowanRCS ::: Favorites 2007-08-14 16:38:51 Thank you so much! Maryland is a long way from California. It's so nice to see and hear you. A couple of years ago, you answered my email. Thank you for that, as well. Renee __________________________________________________
lentilpie ::: Favorites 2007-08-14 19:36:05 Greetings from Australia! Recently as I have had some health concerns I asked for guidance. In my dreams I was told twice that I am absolutely healthy and the problems have been resolved. Of course I am happy with this guidance. However, my question to you is whether I heard what I wanted to hear or this is the truth? Also, when are you coming to Australia and teach us? It would be great. Thank you for answering my questions. Blessings and love to you. __________________________________________________
pn9105 ::: Favorites 2007-08-24 22:36:44 What happens if you can't remember your dreams? I used to hapve all kinds of memorable dreams but now I get nothing. Zero, zip, nada. Is that indicative of something? __________________________________________________
judithorloffmd ::: Favorites 2007-08-24 22:47:41 Hi--If you want to remember a dream do this. Before you go to sleep tonight ask a specific question that you want answered. Something from your heart. Then get a beautiful night sleep. In the morning write down the answer. This will program yourself to remember dreams again. Sometimes when you think too much about worldly thing--worrying, obsessing etc--this can block dreams too. Dream on, Judith __________________________________________________
pn9105 ::: Favorites 2007-08-31 02:12:41 Dr Orloff, does HOW you wake up have any effect on this process? My alarm is set to blast music at me until I finally get up and stop hitting the snooze button. I thought of getting a soothing sounds type of alarm but I'm not sure that would have the desired effect - getting me up and out of bed. I have started keeping a dream journal and am seeing some slow progress but it struck me that maybe the way I wake up is causing the problem. __________________________________________________
judithorloffmd ::: Favorites 2007-08-31 02:33:48 Yes, how you wake up makes a big difference. Get one of those Zen alarm clocks--they're more subtle but they're persistant. I think i will do the trickBeing blasted awake by music will shock you out of the dream state so that it will be very hard to remember dreams. You need to luxurate in the hypnogogic state between sleep and waking to remember dreams. My book Guide to Intuitive Healing goes into dreams in depth and will spark your dream process. All best, Judith __________________________________________________
pn9105 ::: Favorites 2007-09-01 16:40:08 Dr. Orloff, thank you so much for taking the time to respond to my questions. I have taken your advice and purchased a Zen alarm clock. I have already been listening to your audio books and look forward to seeing you at Esalen next month. __________________________________________________
judithorloffmd ::: Favorites 2007-09-01 21:18:52 Enjoy my audio books! The Esalen workshop I'm giving in Big Sur in October is my favorite of the the year! An amazing place to experience dreams and intuition. See you there! Judith __________________________________________________
judithorloffmd ::: Favorites 2007-09-12 11:19:06 Its a beautiful thing to have dreams of people before they pass. if they are loved ones spend time with them so you can be there. For others try to be of service in some way. You can always ask a dream the following night if there is anything specific you need to say or do other than being loving. My book Guide to Intuitive Healing discusses these dreams in depth. Judith __________________________________________________
