4th gear on a heavily loaded mustang dyno. 25+psi by 5000rpm, revving to 8100rpm on a 57trim T3/T04E.

i want to see a honda that can make 442hp on original motor block with no turbo, supercharger or nitrous for under 4k in including the price of the car.

Buddy, you couldn't even do that with a SBC motor if you are going to include the price of the vehicle. Now, 4k would get a 350 making that hp, but 4k into a Honda could get you damn close... at least 300-350 with a sohc and def 400+ if you had a dohc motor.

You guys with the "lag" comments need to understand what you are seeing. The dyno pull wasn't even started until 4K rpm, and was performed in 4th gear. The throttle wasn't even floored until 30 seconds into the video! It then hit 19 psi within 2 seconds, and 26+psi within 3 seconds of flooring it. It's not even close to as laggy as you think. Over half the video was just slowly rolling it up to the targeted start rpm.

ok then. but the bigger the turbo the more the lag is..when does this turbo spool?

5psi at 4000rpm, 13psi at 4500rpm, 25psi at 5000rpm. I now rev to 9K, that's a 4000-5000 rpm wide powerband.

sweeet!!! nevermind the laggy comments... some forget hondArs rev high...with a 4k wide powerband and short gearing who cares if its full spool at 5k...when you rev to 9k or more.
