to add to this...scientifically "RAP AND HIP HOP" are not music...and im a huge rap and hip hop fan....they did some sort of study and it actually isn't considered music haha kind of funny...the roots is music...wu tang isnt....instruments to a synthetic beat and the way they use their voices is why i think.

man, u dun kno the first thing about hip hop. hip hop's not just music, its a culture. rapping is just one aspect of it. and all that rap is, is a poem matched up to a beat. some people dont even consider tupac a rapper. they see him as a poet. the words that rappers use are the words that they grew up with, and are comfortable with. if u livin in the ghettos wut kind of words u think u'll hear as a kid? thats y most rappers curse in their raps.watever
